EASY NO BAKE PROTEIN BALLS

I’m not much of a baker, so when I say this recipe is “easy”, it’s no joke! It will take around 10 mins of your time, with only 4 main ingredients… It doesn’t get any better, guys!  Within minutes you have the best nutritional snack to take with you to work for a quick pick-me-up or for that extra little energy before you hit the gym and even for breakfast for when you’re running late out the door, (been there, done that, way too many times!)  When I make these protein balls, I double up on the batch and freeze half in zip lock bags to save for later.  Anyway, continue reading for this easy recipe… 

INGREDIENTS 

1 1/3 cup Whole Grain Oats

3/4 cup All-Natural Peanut Butter

1/3 cup Vanilla Whey Protein Isolate Powder

1/3 cup All-Natural Honey

OPTIONAL

1/3 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

1/8 cup Chia Seeds

1/3 cup Unsweetened Coconut Shreds

Stir all ingredients together in a mixing bowl, except for the shredded coconut.  If the natural peanut better is too hard from previously being in the fridge, you can microwave it to soften it up.  Roll mixture into 1-2 inch balls with your hands and place onto a baking sheet. Optional: You can roll the balls through the coconut shreds to coat them.

Once you’ve placed them all on the sheet, put them in the fridge so they harden up.  Roughly 10 mins! They are now ready to be devoured!  Yummy! Leftovers need to be refrigerated and as I said earlier, a great idea is to freeze some so they last longer.  Hope these little guys give you a little energy throughout your days!
